Talk to our support team, and get clinical advice from a dementia nurse. We also offer a Dementia Handbook, monthly online ‘Memory Gateway’ zoom meetings, and keep in touch calls at your request.
Our team at Carers in Bedfordshire have collated an online support hub to support you in your caring role, and have many resources to help in all aspects of being a carer or dealing with issues yourself.
We are commissioned to provide this service as a follow on from a diagnosis or to guide people to seek a diagnosis if they have concerns.
We provide support from getting a diagnosis, medical support, peer support, keeping well and preparing for end-of-life. It is for anyone concerned or impacted by dementia.
We will help you find the support and services available in Bedfordshire and includes suggestions from people living with dementia and their carers.

The Memory Navigation Service has been delivered by Carers in Bedfordshire’s team of staff and volunteers on behalf of Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire Councils and the Integrated Care Board since 2016.
Our role is to navigate those affected by dementia or memory loss to the right information, services or support that is needed. We are commissioned to provide this service as a follow on from a diagnosis or to guide people to seek a diagnosis if they have concerns.
