Events

Attending events can be hugely beneficial for people living with dementia, providing opportunities for social interaction, mental stimulation, and a sense of routine, all of which can help maintain cognitive function and overall well-being.

Carers in Bedfordshire offers a range of events designed to support both carers and those living with dementia. These events include social gatherings, such as coffee catch-ups, as well as informative training sessions covering topics like care funding, NHS falls prevention, and basic IT skills. These sessions are open to anyone who would like to attend.

In addition to these events, Carers Hubs are available in Bedford, Biggleswade, Marston Moretaine, and Dunstable. These hubs provide a dedicated space exclusively for carers, offering respite, peer support, and access to helpful resources.
